Rath Yatra

Rath Yatra, the Chariot Festival, is a joyous public procession where deities travel on ornately decorated chariots.

The festival symbolises the Lord’s outreach to all people and is a major public event of community participation.

ISKCON organizes chariot processions where possible, kirtans and distribution of prasadam accompany the celebration.

Rath Yatra invites everyone to pull the chariot, sing, and receive blessings and prasadam.

At Ahilya Nagar we aim to host community parades and coordinate volunteer teams to manage the festival logistics.

At ISKCON Ahilya Nagar we celebrate with kirtan, scriptural discourses, community feasts and devotional service. All are welcome.
