Ram Navami

Ram Navami celebrates the birth of Lord Rama, the seventh avatar of the Lord and hero of the Ramayana.

Rama exemplifies dharma, ideal conduct, and selfless leadership. Scriptural readings, especially from the Ramayana, are central to observances.

ISKCON celebrations include recitations, kirtans, and often a short procession carrying the image of the Lord.

Temples present lectures on Rama’s character and distribute prasadam to all who come to the temple.

At Ahilya Nagar we hold readings of Rama’s pastimes and invite families and children to participate in cultural programs.

At ISKCON Ahilya Nagar we celebrate with kirtan, scriptural discourses, community feasts and devotional service. All are welcome.
